Today I woke up to find that one of our goldfish, Robert, had died. We got him and his Latin love, Manuel, last August as classroom pets for my fourth graders. The girls did such a good job taking care of those fish! After the school year ended, and they showed me how tiny my room would be the following year, Talin and I decided to move the boys home with us. They lived on the bedroom floor for a while and then found a special place on the bookshelf after Ezra was born. Talin took over the fish duties once they moved into our house. He's so good at making sure the animals are loved and taken care of. Although Robert was quiet and had a simple fishy personality I will miss seeing him swim around all day. Poor Manuel will need someone else to follow around the aquarium...he looks very lost.
Ezra has his first "shot" appointment today and I am freaking out! Poor baby! I know that vaccinations are going to protect him from the evil diseases that lurk everywhere in this world, but it doesn't make it any easier! Look at this sweet face!!

Talin and I found out yesterday that we will finally get the two bedroom apartment that we've been waiting for!!!! In the almost-two years that I've been living in this building not a single one of the 11 two bedroom units has ever come available. There's a woman living on the 7th floor who's been in her Two-Bedroom-Palace since 1954! Needless to say, they are hard to come by! They're putting in a new kitchen, new carpets, and letting us pick out paint! HOORAY! 4th floor nursery here we come!!!

Jen- youare a great writer. I love that you have so much to say about a fish. That is what makes you great.
I hated shots appt. with my babies. The littler they are the faster they get over it.
I am so excited you are getting a 2 bedroom! Post pics.
Horray for more space! We are like goldfish. We grow if given room.
Sorry to hear about poor Robert.
Shots are the worst. Wait until the doozy 12 months come around. Tom could have gotten 6 at one time this week, but I opted to wait and to the MMR and DTP a few months down the road. His little leg was knotted and red at the injection site. I hope Ezra did okay with them.
Awww thanks! I love that you guys are reading my blog. I totally stalk yours! =)
