Halloween...Halloween...lots of fun on Halloween!

We went out to Half Moon Bay (again!) to get pumpkins, Ezra had a blast WALKING (with help of course) in his brand new shoes. He met goats, bunnies, and doves in the petting zoo and we watched a sword fight between medieval knights in the coliseum made of straw! My camera died at the very beginning of our adventure, so we had to take still shots with the video recorder. Tal promised to download them this week though. Until then...here's a cell phone pic. of Ezra and his new best pumpkin friend.

Costume Parade

Needless to say he had a blast! Does anything say "Halloween" better then getting a bunch of crazy, excited elementary school kids into costumes, parading them around the school grounds, and then staring at them.....while they stare at us? I think not! Thanks for inviting us Allyson. We love you!

On sunday, while we were listening to music, Ezra decided to show Daddy his dancing moves....Those bouncing baby knees get a cute little rhythm...

MORE?!

We got another Halloween package yesterday! There's nothing better than getting a surprise package in the mail!! This one had super yummy candy and baby snacks, a cute fuzzy card with homecoming pictures of beautiful Aunt Allie, and this adorable ghosty bib. Are we a spoiled little family or what? Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Wadsworth!!

In July, Talin and I had a few family photos taken. We went back to Skye Johansen who had done such an amazing job with Ezra's 6 month pictures. This time around, Ezra was not so happy to be in front of the camera...but we got a few smiles out of him. Now we need to decide which ones to put up on our walls!

Pumpkin Festival!

This morning we decided to beat the traffic and head out to the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival early!Ezra was so excited to see his best friend Cache! We watched a magic show and then got ready for the costume contest....

It was so funny to watch the boys look around at all of the CRAAAAZY costumes!
After the contest we got some super yummy pumpkin treats and then decided it was time to head home. We had so much fun!!

We USED to let the baby "chew" on our fingers to ease his teething pain...NOT ANYMORE! (yes that's a tiny baby bite mark!) I guess that little game was bound to stop as soon as the teeth actually came in...ahhh well.

Here's what Owen decided to do today when I refused to feed him anymore treats...At least Ezra thinks it 's funny.

Good morning first rain storm!

HOORAY! It's raining today!!
The perfect morning for listening to Vivaldi, sipping herbal tea...noshing on cheerios, cuddling up in footie pajamas...
making drop biscuits, and smothering them in honey.
Hooray for wet, snuggly, fall, mornings!

Changes

It seems like changes come so fast around here!

All of a sudden it's fall (Yes that's my neighbor's fireplace...that's the only way we know it's fall around here...doesn't it look like a scene out of Hansel and Gretel?)

Our baby boy is suddenly old enough to be playing with trucks! (oh how he loves them!)
And, out of nowhere, he's blossomed into a little comedian...trying to find new ways to make Mommy and Daddy laugh! (I turned around to put some tupperware away and when I turned back...there was Ezra sitting happily in the dishwasher giggling!)
(He thinks it's hilarious to put his mouth over little chunks of food on his tray, rather then pick them up. He comes up with a cocked eyebrow and a smile on his face like.."well, aren't you going to laugh"?)
Sorry, I tried to catch that sly grin, buuuuut....I need a faster camera! Before we know it, he'll be a 1 year old running around the house! Changes happen so fast.
