BUGS!

My parents took me up American Fork Canyon last night for a yummy tinfoil dinner farewell. Within minutes of arriving we were SWARMED by little flying ant things (my mom still swears they were gnats) Anyway I got some really funny pics before we fled the bug wonderland. On the plus side, there were TONS of bats...which was cool. And, the food was good...a little extra crunch to it, but it was good. Missed you Talin!

So...after spending a week with the family and friends in Utah I have to head back to work and normal life. (BOOOOOO!)
I had so much fun though. I think some of my favorite moments are when Rachael fell off her lucite platform heels at Dr. Johns...laughing at Cassandra in a full body spandex suit (seriously she looked hot!)...having a long talk with Tiana about life and the many things that get thrown our way...having lunch with Krissy, getting avacado ALL over my skirt and then walking around half the day without even knowing it was there. (Thanks a lot Krissy!) =)
It was amazing to be in the hospital just hours after baby Jonah (my new nephew) was born. Lisa's labor was so much better this time which gives me hope (however small) for my own! It was even more amazing to have Sophie(my two year old niece) actually run to hug me! I miss Talin more than anything-I can't wait until we're here together in October, but I'm so glad that I've had this time away to play and relax before school starts. Thanks everyone!!!

In the beginning...

So! After much urging and advice from my blogging friends, I finally set up a blog for the Talin man and I.
I'm in awe of Raelynn and Kristen..and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to keep up like they do, but I'm gonna try.
It's going to be a big year for our little family, I can't wait to see what comes our way. =)
