Most parents of toddlers already know this equation....but apparently I need to re-learn it.
The other day I was doing dishes, while Ezra was happily making noise in the front room.
Singing to himself...
...talking to any train that would listen...
..throwing bouncy balls across the room and then screaming, "RUN THE BASES!"
I guess I just got so used to the continual din that I didn't really notice when it stopped...
...until suddenly I did...
...and found this:

In two minutes, he had eaten almost a whole pack of gum,
(some of which he spit out politely onto a wrapper....but I guess the other half has taken up a seven year residence in his gut.)
opened my wallet and helped himself to a bit of cash,
and placed a call to a 9 digit number on my phone.
Hmmmmmm.....at least he keeps things interesting. =)
On a completely unrelated note, I'm pulling together photos for my Easter post and stumbled upon this little jewel from October.

HA!
He had JUST been buckled in, and between that time and my climbing into the front seat, putting on my belt and checking to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything, he'd fallen into such a deep sleep that his jaw was hanging open!
To be fair it WAS Halloween and he'd been runing around like a crazy person all day long.
Good times...good times...
