This morning, Ezra helped me load the dishwasher and round up toys that were strewn all over the living room.
He found a book that one of his friends left behind yesterday after play group. He promptly sat down and began flipping through it while "reading" to me.
He turned each page and cooed to himself about the pictures. I was trying so hard not to laugh because I knew he would look up at me and stop.
Speaking of books, I found another great idea on
Mod Podge Rocks. I took one of Ezra's old board books that he doesn't really like anymore. Covered it with cute paper and then put pictures of our family on each page.
He loves to turn the pages and find a new smiling face on each one! When he gets to the last page (which is a picture of the cats) he looks up and tries to find Emma and Owen in the room!
Oh how Ezra loves his family!

Hey Jen! So I guess that is Cache's book! We must have left it behind...I seem to do that at every play group! Thanks for letting us have it at your place! It was so much fun! Want to bring the book on Friday?
I love the idea of scrap booking a board book. I also love that Ezra is book smart and already has enough print awareness to know which way is up in a book. Impressive for his age!
