Part Four (in which a day is skipped)

Heidi and Doron came out to join the family on Thursday. By that point, Jonah was feeling pretty sick too, so we decided to have a very relaxed day (with two sick babies it seemed like the best option). We talked, went to lunch, put babies down for naps, swam in the pool, and ordered pizza. It was a GREAT day of relaxing and being close to family. Sadly, my camera was charging that day so I made a pact with my mom to download her pictures before we left. Needless to say...that didn't happen. Soooooo maybe ONE day those pictures will get posted, but until they do I figured I might as well post our Friday adventures.

Lisa's family left at 3:00 AM to catch their flight to SLC. We didn't even hear them leave. =( My parents had to be to the airport at 2:30 PM to get on their flight. We decided to stick close to the house to talk and relax for a bit. I just realized that I haven't posted a picture of the house yet. So here it is!Complete with a screened in pool! The backyard was up against a swamp which had lots of birds and lightning bugs. It was so cool! I love that we chose to stay here rather then a hotel. It had TONS more space, and we got to save money by making our meals. The management company is CRAP(remind me to tell you the story of the night we got locked out....their solution was ridiculous! pff!) but the house itself was super nice!
Then it was time to say goodbye. As much as I love our independent life in California, I miss my family so bad that it literally makes my heart ache.

I soaked both of my parents shirts with tears and had to be pried away to give the camera a watery smile before they headed for their gate. No matter what kind of plans we've made to see each other in the future, I still don't feel any better.
We decided to head down to Clearwater to explore the beach. Heidi and Doron were super excited.Poor baby Ezra just wanted to nap....he slept almost the entire 2 hour drive!!
When we got to Clearwater, we were blown away by how soft and white the sand was!!
I found a nice shady spot to relax in....
and the boys headed out to swim in the ocean. It was BEAUTIFUL (to say the very least) The water was as warm as a bath and the tiny little waves didn't scare Ezra (well...not too much!) He actually let us take him in waist deep before he started to cry. =)
Doron and Heidi spent almost the entire day swimming in the perfect water.
Talin and I were taking turns playing on the beach with the baby and swimming. When it was my turn to come in, I realized that Ezra was SUPER hot and sweaty....uh oh! He had a fever!! Poor little man fell fast asleep in my arms. Good thing we'd packed the ibuprofen!
When we were all beached out, Doron used his i-phone to look up a nearby seafood restaurant. Ezra liked the live music...well...he mostly liked clapping to the live music.
Talin and I liked the beautiful sunset view.
You thought I was kidding!? If you look close you can see a pirate ship in the bottom left of this picture. I wish I had a better camera because the colors of this sunset were so much more intense then they are here. The sun was a burning ball of red heat...oh well.
This cup of milk was the only thing Ezra agreed to put down his throat (poor baby!)Heidi, Doron, and Talin shared oysters.....
uhhh....I'm withholding my personal opinion of their choice.....=)
By the end of the night we were all sad to leave. Our little family was scheduled for a 2:30 PM flight the next day and Heidi and Doron were off to finish their vacation in Hawaii.
It was a sad last day, and poor baby Ezra did end up being TOTALLY sick, but I'm so glad that I got see my family. I love that we spent almost every hour of every day together. I love that I got to stay up late giggling with my mom and sisters. I love that Ezra had the opportunity to play cars and tag with his cousins everyday. Most of all, I loved this week of having NOTHING to worry about and just being surrounded by the people I love most in this world. Sigh....back to real life.

Ever time we get on a plane, my kids are always sick at the end of vacation or by the time we get home, it never fails. I always pack the tylenol, ibu and the benadryl. Did Heidi get married? Hope Ezra feels better soon.
