Monday Adventures

Today our friends invited us to visit Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay. Knowing that Half Moon Bay is a mad house for the ENTIRE month of October we all planned on leaving early and being at the farm as soon as it opened......except that I left my keys in our car last night....and securely locked them in! GARH! Sooo...Ezra and I spent the morning feeding squirrels in the yard and waiting for roadside assistance.

Once we had the car open it was a short 15 minute drive to one of the MOST crowded farms I've ever seen! =) We jumped in line for the train....
which I thought Ezra would be more excited about! He did say "whoo whoo" a few times and was generally having a good time...but I think the crowds were overwhelming him a bit. That...and he's still fighting off a monster cold!
The train ride in the snack bar was his entertainment of choice! He would have ridden that thing all day if there hadn't been a line three kids deep waiting their turn for a $.50, one minute, ride.
After sampling some pumpkin ice cream, he perked up a bit and explored the pumpkin patch...
and the haunted fountain (complete with ducks taking a bath in the waterfall).
I asked if he would like a pony ride and after looking through the fence at the pretty little horses...he came up with this compromise! HA! This metal friend was hidden off the beaten path so there were NO lines. He rode to his heart's content.
I wish I'd been able to get a group shot of all the mommies and kids. I feel lucky to have such a great circle of friends that venture fearlessly out to find adventures for their little ones. Thanks for inviting us girls! We had a lot of fun. =)
