Last night, Ezra and I went on a "date". =) We stopped for dinner with our friend Allyson. She's so fun!

Ezra really liked his Baja Fresh kids meal...but he liked messing around with the camera even more.

Then he and I headed over to Newark to watch my first class of 4th graders graduate from middle school. I had so many memories flood over me as we walked into the school where I had spent my first two California years as a teacher.

My little llamas were all grown up! Some of the boys even had mustaches!!!

I literally couldn't hold back the tears as I saw each of them come forward and accept their diploma.

I was ecstatic to find out that my sweet Stephanie had maintained a 4.0 GPA for her entire middle school year. She was chosen as valedictorian and gave an amazing speech.

We didn't get to stay to see the whole program (poor Ezra fell asleep in my arms) but I felt so lucky to have been a part of the lives of these incredible students. I know I've said it a million times before, but I LOVE my job! There is no feeling in the world like the one I felt tonight seeing these kids become young adults.
