Pack it up and move it out!

Moving day has come and gone.
Thanks to our AMAZING Elder's Quorum we had the van packed and ready in less then an hour!
Oh how we will miss our San Mateo ward. =(

The whole day was an adventure for Ezra.  Full of empty rooms, giant moving furniture, and trucks....
...I on the other hand, although excited for our new space...was feeling meloncholoy most of the day.  Sweet Ezra picked a flower for me and said,
"I want you to feel comfortable and not stressed out about moving."
 Ha!
Well thank you my observant, little,  four year old.  That was just what I needed to hear!
Once we made it over to the house, Talin's boss and good friend Jay from the ward
(yes, he and his family totally drove across the bridge to help us on the other side!)
came to unload.
Ezra had a blast running around with sweet Kenzie while Dee and I sat on the couch and chatted.
It felt so good to have old friends welcome us into the new place. =)
Once the big pieces of furniture were in, it was time to return to San Mateo for the dreaded odds and ends.
Ezra was FILTY!!!!  Capital F!

Luckily we had a change of clothes...but those feet might be permanently black!
By the time we called it a night and loaded up to drive back home, he was already fast asleep in the backseat.
Although things were still in chaos, it felt good to have our lamps lighting our new windows.
It was so peaceful and calm standing in the twilight on our little front path.

This morning, Ezra (and Owen) spent a lazy morning in the backyard while I unpacked....

....and when I couldn't take it anymore we headed out to explore the town a bit.
We ended up at our beautiful new library where Ezra signed up for his first ever library card...
(he was so excited)
...and we met half the town!
Ha, just kidding, I'm sure it wasn't half the town, but I have NEVER been to a library that crowded.  It was like Target in there. =)
Nice to know our neighbors enjoy a good book too!

Sadly, we are STILL not done cleaning out the old place.....blurghhhhh how did we fill two bedrooms with so much crap?
And, saying goodbye to my primary kids and friends has been SO hard.
We only live 30 minutes away though so I fully plan on visiting often and forcing my way into those delicious "girls night outs" that I know I will be missing so much!
Let the adventure begin!

Exciting! I'm sure thou will make good use of that extra space. I couldn't find mention anywhere of what cavity you are in... Just that you are in East Bay. I'm in Dublin. Where are you?
