Have I ever told you that my favorite place to be just after sunset is on the beach?
It's amazing!
Literally....take your breath away, other-worldly,incredible.
I think it's so stunning because not only is the sky full of shifting color and light...
...the water is too...
...and you can't help but lose yourself in the rolling, pink after-glow lingering on the waves.
Even Ezra sits quietly, watching....thinking...and enjoying.
Of course, once the sun is almost completely gone and the uninterrupted darkness sets in, it's the perfect time to be silly!
I totally surprised a dancing Ezra with my SUPER flash setting.
He was stunned!
HA!
Then he liked it....and begged for more...
...more...MORE!
Until we tried to take a nice, quiet, family picture...
...and then, of course, he wanted nothing to do with the camera and our pose....
...well...
..ok...
...maybe just one!
HA!
I could have sat on that little cliff for hours.
Just before we left, we saw a family of seals flop out of the surf and haul themselves ashore.
NIghtfall at the beach truly is....AMAZING! =)

What would I do without your blog and hearing my Jenny almost as if she was here with me but having all these grand adventures like she is someplace else. I love the words you write. You need to start writting books all about the adventures and amazing things a little boy named Ezra has and says.
