This year Ezra was ADAMANT that he just had to have a jet party!
He went so far as to ask me for jet flavored cupcakes....what the what?
True to form, Talin took the party theme and ran with it.
It's so fun to have an artist husband. =)

We sent out the invites in vintage airmail envelopes so we tried to keep the decorations along the same red/white/blue lines.

The treat table had jet shaped peanut butter and honey sandwiches, cloud (vanilla flavored) cupcakes and various snacks.

The kids all created a lego airplane (which Talin designed...how cool is that?) and then we whipped out the parachute and played some classic rowdy games.

To be honest though, most of the party was spent by kids free playing, laughing, eating and squealing...while the parents chatted and enjoyed adult company....
...and that was my favorite part!

Presents were opened.....

...and all too soon it was time to pass out treat bags and say farewell...

...what a wonderful day spent with friends!

Thank you, everyone, for celebrating with us!

Oh my gosh! You are A. MAZE. ING. That party seriously looks like something out of a magazine. Sorry the Obermarks couldn't attend, but so happy it went wonderfully!

"Dear Martha Stewart"
Wow this really should be a spread in Martha Stewart or simple. Really well done and looks like fun too. Wish I had been there. Maybe you
should cater kids parties instead of writing or how about both.
Love you xoxoxo mom
Oh my goodness! What a FUN birthday party. Looks like your son and his party goers had the time of their lives! =)
k, I am TOTALLY DYING over this party. LOVE the Baggage Claim :) I love that you have an artistic husband too. That's how I feel about Danny. He can whip things up on the computer like nobody's biz. How fun!!
