Today Ezra and I went to a goodbye luncheon for our friend Laina at Marlene's house. Laina is one of the most awesome women that I have met! She is the queen of compassionate service and somehow not only knows EVERYONE in the ward but has a secret "best friend" relationship with all of them! Marlene decorated her house so cute for Valentines day (I didn't get a picture of her beautiful table! Dang!) We ate taco salad, fruit, and delicious pumpkin pie cake!!! Plus she made us apple cider-simmered it on the stove with oranges and cinnamon...soo good. It was great to just sit in the front room, look out at the rain pouring down, sip a hot cup of homemade cider, watch my sweet baby sleep and be surrounded by ADULTS! =) I love Ezra and the conversations that he and I have, but DUDE, I seriously think I'm losing my social skills! More adult playdates for mommy!
I'm so sad that Laina is leaving and crazy jealous of all those people in Newark who get to have her. We will miss you Laina!

Some of my girlfriends and I get together every week. We switch houses and just let the kids play, and we just sit around and talk. It's seriously a life saver and the kids love it too!
