The other day, Tal opened the door to find a little package on our doorstep. When we unwrapped it, we found a blue baby hooded towel and a card from our next door neighbor..whom we've never met! When we first brought the baby home I was worried about our poor neighbors. Although the walls are pretty thick in our building, we can sometimes hear arguments and loud music so I KNEW that everyone would be hearing Ezra's 2 am cries. (The boy has a set of lungs!) How cute is it that when my neighbor heard those cries, instead of getting angry or wishing she lived somewhere else, she went to the store, picked out a gift and a card and quietly left them at our doorstep? I know I say it all the time, but Tal and I have been so blessed! It seems as though Heavenly Father knew exactly where to send us at this time in our lives. We've met true friends in our ward and even strangers have extended the hand of kindness and generosity to us. Maybe it's my lack of sleep..but the world seems like such a wonderful place to be right now. =)
Ezra's umbilical cord fell off yesterday (YAY) we gave him his first real bath in the sink. It was so funny. We decided to use the camcorder instead of the camera to document it, so when we figure out how to upload video, we'll post it! He had the funniest little look on his face...kind of like..."well I think this feels good-but don't let me go!" Here's a picture right after he got out.

Ahhh, fresh, clean baby. Nothing better! And he is so cute in the little hooded towel. :)
What a sweet neighbor. I'm glad that she was there to leave something on your doorstep becase I know all of us in Utah are wishing that we could do it ourselves.
Babies are blessings in many, many ways. You are a great mom.
Jen, he is adorable looking... all clean and sweet! Congratulations again!
