I'm 32 weeks today! YAY! During my math lesson, the kids and I were practicing multiplication facts. When we got to 8 * 4 = 32, I excitedly told them that the baby in my stomach is 32 weeks old today which means I'm 8 month's pregnant because there are 4 weeks in a month. One of my sweet girls said " so, Wadsy (their nickname for the baby) will be born next month?" And I reminded her that I'm not due until December 5th. The silence of little brain's computing filled the room. Another one of my little girls declared "but that's another 8 weeks..I thought that babies only took 9 months to grow"......hmmm how do you explain to a room full of fourth graders that although we all declare pregnancy a 9 month task...if we look at it mathematically...it's actually 10! I tried really hard not to laugh about our crazy adult world.
I also couldn't help thinking today about how my sister Lisa pointed out when SHE was 32 weeks along that we Berg girls look like giant jelly beans when we're pregnant...thanks to the Berg Butt!! One huge lump in the front, and one in the back...ah well...at least we have a matching set.

You make me wish that I would have taken pictures of my growing belly. You look absolutely beautiful. I always looked like some wasted, water-retaining fat lady and wanted no documentation so I wouldn't be black-mailed later on in lfe. Okay, I am going to do this with baby #3 (in a few years).

Yeaaaa!!!!!!!! Sister! I can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks - you are sooo pregnant! So cute! And - for the record - I said that III look like a jelly bean - NOT YOU! You definitely are not in my jelly bean club - all I see is a cute belly and no bootie - so.... no jelly bean club for you! I love you - you are so glowey - I can't get over it!
