A Special Guest

We have been looking forward to today for almost 2 weeks now.
My Aunt Janet was visiting from Maryland, and we were SO lucky to snag an afternoon with her!

I'm pretty sure Ezra woke up at 6 AM waiting for her arrival.
HA!
He was SO excited to show her EVERYTHING in his room...and she was SO patient to sit, play and listen to his endless stories. =)
Junie was awake just long enough for snuggles and smiles.
We had SO much fun talking, showing Aunt Janet the house, going for a walk in the meadow...as we waved goodbye and watched her drive away, Ezra slumped forward and slunked back into the house.  When I asked him what was wrong he said, "I'm just so sad that she had to leave"
AWWWWW!
The only thing that perked him up was talking about visiting her farm next summer and seeing Uncle Frank's GIANT tractor. =)
When June got up this afternoon I finally got some pictures of her with the gorgeous blanket Aunt Janet knit for her arrival!
My favorite part are these tiny little knit balls....they look like polka dots! =)
 It's perfect for snuggling....
...and story time. =)
We love you SO much Aunt Janet.
Thanks for making our week!
We can't wait until we get to play with you again!

It boggles my mind that people can make things like that with their own two hands....seriously so talented.

Thanks Jenny for the photos of my big sis with the kids that made my day. I know how excited you have been for her to visit, and what a great memory it will be. Hopefully you'll get out to visit Puck Glen maybe after Florida in June
