Remembering Oakland

Yesterday felt like an "outing" kind of day. We packed up the baby and decided to head over to Oakland to eat lunch at our favorite east bay sushi bar...and then visit some of the old places we used to hang out at when we lived in Oakland.

Lunch at ManPuku...mmmmm Talin LOVES the chicken yaki soba!

Ezra likes the chopsticks...

Jen likes the "marble" drinks....mmmmmmmm!

We saw the poster that Talin designed for the Jewish Film Festival in almost every storefront window. How cool is that?

We did some shopping...went to one of our favorite bakeries....bought some new picture books at Pendragon and, of course, got ice cream from Fentons.

By the end of the day we had gone to almost every one of our favorite places...and laughed about the memories we'd made there....Ezra was D-O-N-E!

So, I got in the back seat with the camera to make him smile...

Nothing makes Ezra smile bigger then a big ol' camera lens in his face....such a ham. =)

Fun outing! You guys did a ton! I think that's the sushi place Tal took us to when we can to visit. We loved the marble drinks, too. What a sweet, easy going baby - he's such a cute boy!

That is always fun to do...go back to old places that you used to hang out at. Plus, if there is sushi involved, you can't go wrong!
