Progress....

He can now see (and scowl) out of both eyes....
...but his newest malady, epic rash, has taken over every inch of body space. =(
It looks worse then it feels.
He seems completely unfazed by the red raised bumps.
I feel like I will never look at antibiotics the same way after this.
Who knew that an innocent little antibody could create such a commotion?
On the other hand, I feel like we know SO much more about the people around us....
HA!
...almost every where we've gone someone has asked us about Ezra's appearance
(how sad is that?)
and upon hearing about his allergy they inform us that either they, or someone close to them has had the same reaction.
I guess the doctors weren't kidding when they said it's the most common drug allergy.
But, it doesn't make looking at his small, splotchy body any easier.

So, Jenny... Megan is also allergic. She was in college and not only did she get the rash but she landed in the hospital with severe throwing up etc. Stayed there for 2 days and then lost 1/3 of her hair (which grew back) over the next 6 months. Needless to say she could die if she ever had it again. Funny thing is Mary also landed in the hospital when she took a sulpher drug with a urinary trac infection. She also was in the hospital and had the rash all over her body. We knew she was allergic to penicillian but very often people who have that allergy cannot take sulpher drugs either. Mary of course wasn't even related to Grandpa Red. This allergy is very serious. Feel sorry for all that your little one has gone through. Bless his heart.
