Pink Cupcakes and a Polka Dot Balloon

My February 14th began with this...
...yes, that's right,it's a love message from my best friend. =)
Complete with pictures I haven't seen in over 7 years!
Awwwww!
And, for good measure, a ratty old kitty I gave him when we were dating, complete with a picture we had taken at a Target photo studio on our "we've been dating for a whole year" anniversary!
Oh the cheese!!
I love it!!
After our annual heart biscuit breakfast (and a million snuggly kisses goodbye. HA!)
Ezra and I headed over to his friend Bowen's house for a Valentine party.
He, of course, wasted no time in finding the cupcake table, and happily watched his friends frost and decorate while he noshed away on his pristine treat.
Look at how delicious little Maddy's creation is!
How is it possible that MY son doesn't like frosting and sprinkles?
(although....his Dad is pretty much the only other person I know who would reject frosting and decorations for a plain cookie or cake...hmmmmm....)
After hours of playing
(and Mommy talking herself hoarse...HOORAY for a room full of amazing women that I NEVER get to sit and chat with anymore)
Ezra collected his goody bag and we headed out to complete our secret plans.
(He's just a little excited about all the sugar snacks in this box, can you tell?)
With a big bouquet of balloons and a new framed picture for Daddy's desk, we snuck into the Adobe reception area and had them page Talin...
...then we ran to a corner and hid....
...and popped out and yelling "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY" when he came near.
He seemed to like our surprise attack...
...although he did try to send the balloons home.
HA!
The night was rounded out with another annual food tradition...
...heart shaped pizza!
The boys were so excited to play with their Valentine's Day Legos they jumped right into creating as soon as their bellies were full.
What a wonderful day full of love!

I love when you post - it makes me smile. Tempe took a little nibble of that little kitty while we weren't looking, sorry Aunt Jen. It was so fun to find those old photos while going through Tal's stuff.
