Ezraisms #5

The other day Ezra and I were talking about occupations and the products people produce at work.
We talked about farmers and crops, bakers and bread, brick makers and...well...bricks.
I kind of giggled as I slyly asked him what his Daddy makes at work
(fully expecting to receive some sort of "art"...or "pictures"....answer)
He looked at me for a minute and said,
"hmmmmm, he makes money".
I had to call Talin to tell him that his son knows how money is made....by his father. =)
Ha Ha Ha!
(this is his new "smile" face....now to just practice curling those lips UP instead of OUT...HA!)

Today we had a wonderful afternoon with Talin's cousin Jan and Aunt Jill
(look for a later post containing all the glorious details)
Needless to say we were having such a great time we didn't make it home until WAY past nap time.
Ezra opted to sleep anyway,
(which secretly had me jumping up and down! Hooooooray for a well rested boy!)
but as the clock ticked into the 5 o'clock hour I decided it was time to get him up.
He crawled right out of bed, ran to the front room, opened his new build and grow projects that Grandma Maridawn had sent and got to work with Daddy hammering away.
When the boys were done, Ezra curled up against me on the couch and quietly drank milk from his sippy. Thinking about dinner, I asked Talin what time it was, and he replied 7:45.
Instantly the cup popped out of Ezra's mouth and he groaned,
"Awwwwww man I have to go to bed again!"
Talin and I laughed so hard!
(much to Ezras bewilderment...and then amusement, he recited his quippy one liner over and over again with a much more dramatic groan each time)

Where did this little man come from??
