Last week I found the cutest picture of an I-spy quilt and realized that I've secretly been longing to make a blanket for Ezra.
I shopped, and planned, and organized, and waited....and today...the fabric has started coming!
Ezra was literally bouncing when I pulled open the package.
He squealed ,"I'm so excited".
HA HA HA!
I reminded him that the package was just FABRIC for his blanket...and that I still needed to cut and sew to get the actual quilt.

Jen - I signed up for your updates and I enjoy reading your blog. Always interesting and cute pictures and it keeps me connected to you and your family. So - good job. I am making an I spy quilt for my grandchildren (Briton's children) Caroline (7) Cole (3) and Camille (1). They will have to share as this is a ton of work. They will have so much fun with it. I have all the squares of different fabric cut out and now I am ready to sew. I have scaned the fabrics and am making an i-book for them with pictures of them as well. Good luck with your project. love, Aunt Cheryl
Thanks Aunt Cheryl!!
I want to see your quilt when you're done! I didn't even think about making a book to go with it. That makes so much sense! What lucky little grandkids. They will cherish that quilt forever! I still have the quilt Grandma June made for me. Whenever I pull it out I have the best memories. =)
We miss you guys! Thanks for keeping up with our blog!
