Most of you already know that my beautiful sister, Lisa, is excitedly expecting her fourth child.
They decided to do something special for the "gender reveal" with this baby.
At the ultrasound, they had the technician write down the gender of their baby and seal it in an envelope.
They took that envelope to their friend, who is a baker, and he made a beautiful cake with a secret color inside (either pink of blue).
So, today at 5 we all gathered round her kitchen table(some of us via Skype)....
...and cast our votes about whether or not the new cousin would be a baby boy or girl.
The cake was so cute on the outside.....
...but we couldn't wait to see what color would be waiting on the inside
(look at Sophie's face! So cute!!)
And with one swipe of the knife....
TA DAH!!!!
Welcome to the family baby boy #3!!!!!
The look on every one's faces was priceless.
SO much screaming and laughing!!
Talin and I were laughing so hard.....then we just sat back and watched how happy everyone was and wished we lived closer.
Of course, we had to celebrate with a little "baby cake" of our own!
We are so excited for a new boy to join the cousin parade!

p.s. Ezra thinks the new baby should be named "eeohay".....uhhhhh ok.
HA HA HA!
I asked him how Aunt Lisa would spell that and he just smiled at me. =)

Ha ha ha heeeeeee eoohayy it is!!! Ha! I love you little Ezra and did you know you were one of only four people that guessed the gender right! You have a gift little one - just like your Bapa John :) Ren - thanks for the amazing idea - holy cow - that was SO MUCH FUN!! All thanks to you! I love you soooo much and wish you guys could have been here - there is always a little empty space at gatherings like these :( But.... thanks to skype it felt like you guys were in the room!
