Dear family and friends....and anyone else who reads this blog and thinks to themselves...
..."man this girl is a slacker"...
....it's true!
I have definitely let my love of documenting adventures fall by the way side.
I hope that one day I am a better blogger again, and I keep KICKING myself about all the things I haven't taken the time to sit down and write about.
But, until then, randomness will have to suffice.
On Friday, Ezra and I were LOOSING our minds with boredom.
Our favorite friends had been down for the count with flu allllll week long.
It was time to take action and stop moping about!!
So, we decided to pack up and head across the bay to the Chabot space center and observatory
I am SO glad we did!
(Due to a full camera memory card my cell phone had to stand in as photographer for the day)
There were TONS of hands on exhibits to climb on/in/around and enjoy....
...I've never seen a more "kid friendly" space museum.
(well....other then Hansen Planetarium back home)
(I have got to stop asking him to smile when I take a picture! What IS this face??)
After FOUR hours of exploring,
(including Ezra's first planetarium show....oh man I wish I could have gotten a picture of his face in there!!)
we were SO happy that we took a chance on a new Friday adventure!
The whole way home Ezra talked about planets, the moon, being a scientist and building a rocket.
When we parked the car Talin leaned out the window to yell hello.
(Hooray for 4 day weekend with Dad!)
Ezra hurriedly told me NOT to tell him about the badge around his neck....as we walked in the door, he held it out and declared,
"Look Dad, I went to the observatory today and they made me a SCIENTIST!"
ha ha ha ha
Oh how I love the imagination on this kid! =)
