I feel like if I don't update this blog twice weekly things just pass right by!
It's amazing how quickly life putters along...and before I know it...our poor little family blog has been left behind.
Let's catch up shall we?
In April, Ezra chipped a tooth and had to see the dentist for the very first time.
EEEK!
Luckily, our AMAZING dentist, Josh Froerer, is a family friend so Ezra had NO clue he was supposed to be feeling nervous at this appointmet.
He chatted with Josh...

...and played with Aunty Allyson
(who just happened to be off for Spring Break and came up to spend the day with us)
while we waited.

When he climbed up into the chair, he started to feel the butterflies...but Josh talked him through it.
After the exam, he got a NEW "beep beep" (CARS) toothbrush...
...and best of all...
...no work needed to be done to repair the tooth (it was just a tiny chip, but now that we have dental insurance, why NOT have it checked? EH?)

Then it was off to the prize pig to pick out something "cool"...

...and down to Copenhagen for a delicious celebratory lunch.
What a fun trip to the dentist!
In May, Ezra's babysitting job ended. =(
One of my good friends was asked to teach a class at SFSU and asked if I would like to watch her sweet daughters while she taught.
I refused to let her pay me for playing with three of my favorite ladies ONCE a week, so she made checks out to Ezra instead.
HA!
He built up quite a little nest egg with that job!
We spent hours playing play-dough, jumping and dancing to music, swinging on the swing-set,reading books, and acting out Disney movies
(during which, Ezra was always asked to be the prince. HA!)
We survived meltdowns, blow out diapers, and one broken leg,
and came away with wonderful, warm memories

But, not only did the job end, we found out that our beautiful little ladies were packing up and moving to Ukraine in less then two weeks!

We were sad to see them go, but excited for their adventures in Europe.

I will always cherish those Monday adventures with our Becker girls.
We miss them already!
Later that month we headed down to eat lunch with Allyson for Teacher Appreciation Week.
TWO activities with Allyson?
How lucky are we??? =)
Ezra developed a new love for the whiteboard...

...and was so proud that of all the kids in the class, he was the ONLY one that got to sit on the teacher's lap during story time.
Look at that smug little face!
HA!

The kids read a story about a mouse celebrating Cinco De Mayo.
On the way home Ezra talked non-stop about the fiesta and food that the little mouse got to eat.
So that night (with poor Daddy working late) we set a fancy table and snagged a little Cinco De Mayo take out from our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Ezra was in heaven!
HA!

That's about it for this catch up post.
Next up...Memorial Day!
In which, Ezra begins the day by snuggling under his quilt top and declaring it "done"
HA!
Not quite little man....not quite!
