Yesterday, Ezra and I were invited to meet up with one of my old friends at the park. She works as a volunteer at the arboretum,so she gave us the full tour of all of the plants for sale. After we'd met the resident cat and admired the HUGE succulents, we sat down on a bench to chat. A lady lugging a cart full of plants she'd just purchased walked by and smiled, then she turned around. "Do you know anyone who needs a car seat and stroller?" She asked. Her grandson had come to town to visit for a week and she had bought a car seat and stroller to take him around in. " I just happen to have them in my car right now" she said. I followed her to her car and she pulled out a BRAND NEW convertible car seat and folding stroller. I almost cried as she loaded up the plant cart for me and happily sent me on my way. Talin and I had JUST been talking about how expensive a new car seat was going to cost...and here I was lugging a new, still in the package, used maybe 4 times car seat to my car (which by the way I was going to leave at home but at the last minuted decided it was too hot to walk to the park)

I am blown away by the blessings that come our way every day, but I am absolutely speechless, beyond grateful and humbled by how my little family's needs are known and our prayers are answered through the kindness of absolute strangers.

That's amazing! I love it when we're reminded how taken care of we are - I, unfortunately, forget pretty often. This is so cool - yeah for blessings!
Congrats! That is great!
I was thinking the same thing---how much a new car seat would cost us and then I stumbled onto one for over half off and it was the last one!
Do you want Peter's exersaucer?
We're getting rid of it. Or do you think Ezra's getting too big for it?
