Talin gave me the BEST Mother's Day gift this year....he gave me a bigger house! YAY! =) Actually...the BEST gift he's ever given to me is our sweet baby boy...but having an extra bedroom is fun too! =) We moved from the 2nd floor to the 4th floor on the Saturday before Mother's Day. I think we both underestimated how difficult moving with a baby would be!! Lucky for us our home teacher, Greg came by to help us move the big stuff. =) The next morning, Talin woke me up with a super YUMMY "waffles with whipped cream and strawberries" breakfast! After a relaxing day at church, he and Ezra handed me a little brown box all wrapped up in cute ribbons. Inside I found this adorable necklace with baby Ezra's initial...

what a sweet way to remember my first mother's day! All my life, all I've ever wanted to be was a mom. I still remember dragging baby dolls around the house and wanting one of those cabbage patch babies that "drank" form a bottle and then "burped". I still can't really believe that I'm a Mom! There is no feeling I have ever felt like the feeling I get when Ezra sees me from across the room and wiggles his body excitedly, smiles with a huge open mouth, and laughs. I know that look is just for me.....I'm totally his mom! Ah! I can't put the feeling into words, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I feel like the luckiest woman in the world. I have been blessed with so many things...but most of all...with a family!

After going to a lecture on starting solid foods (and having A MILLION CONVERSATIONS with almost every new mom I know) Tal and I decided to start giving Ezra his first foods. We gave him peas last night...with some pretty hilarious results. At first he was totally fine...

but then the taste hit him! I'm not kidding...if babies could dry heave, this is what it would look like! =)

He did much better today though.
Our new house is still only half put together, but once we finally get things where we want them, I'll post pictures....although I'm thinking of redoing the nursery! HA!

oh happy belated mother's day my beautiful young mother friend! =D miss you lots!
Isn't it awesome being a mother? I never knew what that could feel like until I had Riley. And baby pea's are disgusting!! I made a point to try everything Ri ate so I knew what it tasted like, and the peas made me dry heave too:)
